The end draws near..

.... and I am talking about the semester break..

Holiday is about to end and I am going back to Shah Alam soon. What can I say about this holiday? Not the best one but I like holidays so it’s still a good one. This entry is about how I spent my holiday.

As you can see from my previous entry, I went to my cousin’s wedding and my brother had his confirmation. And then a few days later, I went to Miri. Jalan2. Saja2. I had a good time and Kate’s parents and siblings were very kind to me. I learnt how to cook laksa Sarawak from Kate and kek batik Sarawak from Kate’s mom. Here are some pictures taken.

On 27^th of June I and my family went to Lok Kawi Zoo. Too bad, my sister, Irene, was not with us. These are some pictures taken that day. You know what expect from a zoo, right- animals and.... animals. That’s why I don’t put many pictures of animals although my father took a lot of nice pictures.

And I went for dates (of course). It’s been two years since I and Bruno became ‘we’. A lot of things happen and we faced one major problem last semester but we made up and our relationship is stronger than ever. (Please skip this part if you don’t feel like reading sentimental reflection) This long distance relationship, I have to admit that it is sometimes quite hurtful, frustrating and tiring. We don’t have each other to look after each other and both are exposed to ‘distractions’. That is not easy at all. But despite of all these negative words, I can say that I am proud of us. Some people might just give in to the distance that draws them apart but we made it, baby!! Well, yeah, still not in the position to say that. It’s not like we are getting married now but I only have one thing to say to Bruno.. Thank You. Let’s do our best in the years ahead :)

Okay!! Enough of the sentimental part! Berbalik ke pangkal jalan.

This holiday, basically, I spent most of my time watching TV, playing computer games, and reading. I gain a few pounds (ya, I know) but I can’t help it!! I have so much time to kill (so I sleep to kill it! lol) and my mother’s cooking is like no other! But I’m glad because I get the rest I needed.

It is so unfortunate that I have to repeat one subject this coming semester. It’s really a wake up call for me. But never mind. Past is past. There’s nothing I can do about it except to learn from the mistake and try harder. Yosh! I can do it!

So friends, another episode of struggle is coming up. I wish you luck for this new semester and let’s do our best! See you soon :)
